Hey there, followers and visitors.

It always makes me sad when I get an inquiry about a commission and then never hear back from them when I explain the terms. Are they scared off, or do they simply forget? I mean... I am offering a pretty sweet deal (affordable or free commissioned pieces) and they're obviously interested in the quality of what I make, or else I can't imagine them messaging me in the first place.

*sigh*

Oh well. Just hope you all know that the offer for commissions is still definitely on the table. I don't have a ton of down time these days, but working on a new illustration never feels like a chore.

I really miss how creative I felt as a child and teen - my sketchbooks used to fill up so quickly back then. Then again, the content was not usually of a good quality compared to where I am now. Still, sometimes it's nice to look back and feel like you've done a lot with your time. Adulthood has either made me jaded or just too busy.

I am working on a new art project, though. It will probably take a long time... but the first pieces in the series that I've completed sketches for appear quite promising.

New laptop = more time on the computer. Though my Wacom doesn't seem to get along with it too well. Let's hope they're like new roommates that eventually reach a level of homeostasis rather than a pair that ends up suing each other over who did/didn't pay rent.

While I've been getting more requests, I'm still open to any suggestions or commissions, so feel free to send me a note or leave me a comment if you have something you'd like me to do for you.

I've been getting a lot more Watchers lately - so I want to start off by thanking you all for sticking with me. Since my fiance and I share a computer for work, my free time for art is going to slow down a bit while I save up the funds for a new laptop that is Photoshop-friendly.

I'm always looking for inspiration, so always feel free to send me a message or leave me a comment with a request or suggestion.

There's someone going around and hacking into peoples accounts and posting bad things to there friends so they can get mad and ban them.

I advise you to repost this to you journal so your friends can know that if a random post comes up being mean to them that its not you; that someone got into your account... in case what I've heard it true...

Jez's note: I'm no troll. If you ever see trollish messages coming from my account, I assure you, they're not from me. Not only do I not have time for such trivialities, but I find trolling to be an immature and completely useless practice.

If you hadn't noticed, I've been recently searching the projects section of the forum, looking for projects to work on. I'll admit, part of this is done in the thought that it might generate a little more activity on my page (I get lonely sometimes when I only get faves and not comments), but mostly I would just love the practice and to add some variety to my gallery.
